Error while adding datasource for Influx db in Grafana

Below Error occurred by adding a data source in Grafana using Influx DB

“InfluxDB Error: error parsing query: found ON, expected identifier at line 1, char 25”
Settings used are

HTTP Url : http://localhost:8086
Method : direct
No authentication details given, Admin credentials supplied for Influx DB details

Grafana version : grafana-5.0.4.windows-x64
Influx DB version : influxdb_v0.9.0-rc11
