InfluxDB v1.X on HomeAssistant

I want to use influxDB on my HomeAssistant.
I can choose different versions and I’d like to start with V1.X
There is an add-on available: GitHub - hassio-addons/addon-influxdb: InfluxDB - Home Assistant Community Add-ons · GitHub
But is this completely free of charge?
Does this only store the data local on my HomeAssistant (that’s what I want)
