I am using InfluxDB version 1.8.4 to monitor some servers that I have.
Despite getting good results, I would like to upgrade to a newer version (2.7.1), and during the migration, I want to keep both versions running until the tests are completed.
My question is: when using the “influx_inspect” command, does the integrity of the source database remain intact?
I intend to follow the example at Manually upgrade from InfluxDB 1.x to 2.0 | InfluxDB OSS 2.0 Documentation
I apologize for the newbie question, but my knowledge of the entire process is very limited due to my lack of experience.
