InfluxDB API at https://localhost:8086/ready unavailable after X attempts

When i add tls-cert and tls-key to /etc/influxdb/config.toml, systemctl start influxd doesn’t work anymore, and keeps trying to start the service

if I tried without tls flags it works fine, not to mention calling it manually also works, meaning i run influxd --tls-cert = “” --tls-key = “”
anybody know what excactly is the issue!!!
