I am trying to setup grafana, influxdb, and telegraf to monitor my vmware environment using the following links Vsphere

However when I go into grafana to Add a new panel, none of the metrics populate like they are suppose to.

Welcome! This sounds like it might be a Grafana issue? Are you getting confirmation from the telegraf logs that you are successfully writing data?
Have you tried querying your influxdb instance to verify?
