If you launched it in Windows 8 without any problem, why did you ask whether
you can run InfluxDB on Windows 8?

You may (I don’t know about support for Windows) be running an unsupported,
undocumented or not-recommended setup, but if it works for you, it’s your
system, so go ahead and use it as you want.

Thank you for answer, that’s what I’m trying to figure out - whether I should expect any issues in future because of Windows 8, whether it’s not recommended setup, etc. Thanks.
