Is telegraf a replacement for Filebeat /Logstash
It’s very similar to logstash since it has input and output, but the objective is more specific to collect metrics , and logstash it’s more generic.
For metrics collecting, you could compare it to collectd, it’s a better match.
Metricbeat would be a better match just take a look at metricbeat modules
I’v already tried logstash for another case, not for metrics, and now I’m using telegraf for metrics. I suggest you try both and evaluate their memory and processor load for you case.
