Can I mount Amazon S3 as a File System and change InfluxDB data folder to point to it?

I would strongly advise against this. The performance of an S3 mount to a machine would be particularly bad.
Can you expand on what you’re trying to accomplish by this and maybe I can provide some alternative solutions?
Yes it is slow, but to me this seems like an obvious thing to do, store large datasets on an s3 blob.??
Do we store tha data in the wm or a container then?
