Telegraf v1.3.0

I am pleased to announce the release of Telegraf 1.3.0.

A big thanks to everyone in the community who contributed to this release, and a special thanks to Cameron for all of his hard work getting Telegraf to its current state.

This release of Telegraf contains many new plugins including the elasticsearch output and the amqp_consumer, dmcache, interrupts, kapacitor, and linux_sysctl_fs inputs.
Please reference the changelog for release notes and complete list of updates.

Just confirming that this is the proper release tag, correct?

Yes, this is the correct tag.

Following the official installation docs, I used the influxdata repository to install Telegraf (and InfluxDB in fact). I’m using the ‘jessie stable’ repo and my platform is armhf.

Telegraf 1.3.0 isn’t (yet) available from the repo, it seems. When I try:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-cache policy telegraf

the latest available version is shown as 1.2.1-1:

telegraf:
  Installed: 1.2.1-1
  Candidate: 1.2.1-1
  Version table:
 *** 1.2.1-1 0
        500 https://repos.influxdata.com/debian/ jessie/stable armhf Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Is Telegraf 1.3.0 going to be added to the repository please?
I’d like to continue to use apt-get for Telegraf updates, rather than faffing with manual installs, if I can…

@GainfulShrimp Sorry, we are a little bit behind getting the repos updated. I’ll post back here once it is available, should be soon.

@GainfulShrimp You should be able to apt-get the new version now.

@daniel Thanks so much, I’ve now (easily) updated all of my Telegraf instances and they’re all working fine.
