I need some help understanding this issue.
I am trying to pull snmp metrics from my remote agent with ip : “192.168.127.100:161”
but when i see the real time logs, it shows the agent is not responding with ip “192.168.127.100:162”, hence no data collection.
What i dont understand is why telegraf is changing the port from 161 to 162.
From my knowledge , 162 is snmp trap port, i cant make get requests through that port.

I see others in the slack channel have responded, but to re-iterate their questions:
- can you please post the complete config? Maybe you do have another input instance with udp and port 162?
- Furthermore, are you sure that the Telegraf instance is using the shown config?
