Hello
just new into iot - Node Red - influxDB and Grafana!

i have multiple Source which go through Node-Red and should be added to InfluxDB!
do i create for each source his own DB?

it is possible to change later the retention policy (also if Data are allready in the DB)?

Welcome!
Yes you can update a retention policy on a bucket.

Your database schema depends greatly on what you’re trying to achieve with your time series data collection. If you don’t plan on comparing your data across sources, then a bucker per source schema might work for you. However most users but data in the same bucket and differentiate sources by tags.
