New influxdb.conf changes not pulled into running config

I am running influx as a windows service, with the config file listed as an agrument with NSSM. It looks like it refrences the config file, but the value of:

max-values-per-tag = 0

never updates in the running config from :slight_smile:

max-values-per-tag = 100000

Can someone help me shed come light on that problem.

Not sure what is causing this, but have you stopped/restarted the influx service after making the changes to the config file? Influxd does not re-read the config file after starting, so changes will only be read at startup.
