Mongodb Telegraf plugin

Hi, i want to copy/synchronise data from Mongodb into InfluxDB via Telegraf.

However, seems like the Telegraf mongodb input plugin is for monitoring the performance of the MongoDb rather than reading the data from mongodb.

Is my understanding on how the plugin works above correct? How can I copu data coming into MongoDb over to influxDB?

Your understanding of the Telegraf plugin is correct but we do have an open feature request for querying MongoDB.
