Due to space constraint, our Influxdb backup has been setup to take a backup every 6 hours (back up for last 6 hours at a time…Kind of incremental backup) and moved the generated files to Aws S3. For restore, Is it possible, for example, to combine all restore files to restore one day’s worth of data. (6hrs backup x 4).
We are using -portable format with start and end time for backing up
Is it possible to edit the manifest data to include multiple .meta files and corresponding tar.gz file at one go?
If not, Whats the best workaround for this scenario.
Incremental backup may not work due to restricted space.
