Running InfluxDB Cloud Serverless. Is it true there is no way to delete datapoints out of a measurement/bucket? I’m using the Delete API and it returns with a message that
‘Deletes ranges are not supported for v3 serverless buckets’. If true, then is there ANY way to delete out a measurement or do I have to delete the whole bucket and recreate it.
You’re correct, currently there is not a way to delete from the bucket as per the docs. However if you want to get rid of unwanted data you can set certain time in the retention policy and of course you can delete the bucket and re-create it.
