Influxdb fails to start

running on Raspberry PI
systemctl status influxdb error
run: create server: mkdir all: mkdir /root/.influxdb: permission denied
This is my first install of influxdb
Thought?

Welcome! What version of InfluxDB are you using?

version is 1.8.1 I think 2.0 is available but the install process I followed used 1.8.

I figured it out. Thanks for your reply. I’m going to open a new thread about some other issues.
