InfluxDB "data" folder size consumes more space, how to reduce / optimize the data folder size

Hi,
Influxdb database “data” folder size consumes more space. is there any method to reduce the size or is there any standards to optimize the data folder.

There are multiple telegraf instances (around 100) are pushing to this database.

anyone have faced similar issue, let me what is the ideal procedure to manage the database size.

Yes, using RP for 60 days. still we felt the size consumes more.

You could always decrease your RP? Why do you feel that way?

no, ideally 3month data need to keep. still 2months tried. But is there any standards to optimize the database size.
