I have created some new users in InfluxCloud under the Chronograf Admin/Users panel but can’t seem to log in with those user names. Am I missing something here or is there some other way that these users are meant to log in to Chronograf?

When you create users via Chronograf, those users are specific to the InfluxDB cluster (see Authentication and Authorization | InfluxDB OSS 1.3 Documentation). Chronograf itself will still only have a single user. Sorry for the confusion!
We’re working right now to add support for multiple users to Chronograf, but at the moment that’s not possible.
