How are series recorded in InfluxDB

Hi,

If i make different measurements but they all share the same tagssets. Do i save diskspace if i put all the fieldsets in 1 measurement?
Because i write the tagset only once or is influxdb saving all the different series separately, so in the end influxDB record the data all the same?

Hello @Roekens,
Thanks for your question! InfluxDB Indexes tags, measurements, and buckets. Fields are not indexed. You save diskspace if you decrease your series cardinality. Please take a look at these resources:
