Google Data Studio connector InfluxDB OSS

I am trying to connect InfluxDB as data source to Google Data Studio.
On Influxdata website this post explains how Google Data Studio Monitoring | InfluxData but it seems to only be for the cloud version ? I need connector for InfluxDB ( OSS - non cloud )
I wish the post clearly stated this…

Any way we can connect?

Hello @Wayne_de_Jager,
You can connect to OSS. If you’re running locally, you could maybe port forward using http://localhost.run/ ? But I’m no security expert so I don’t know if this is advised. Otherwise you can include the url of any remote InfluxDB instance.
