I’m wondering if anyone has faced this issue before.
My devices report only delta updates. This means that when I insert a measurement into Influx I might pass the value of a single field. However there’s the assumption that all other field should remain the same.
My queries are on device state and thus rely on the fact that somehow the un-reported fields are filled with the last reported value. This can go far in the past.
How would you manage such a setting within Influx ecosystem?
