"Failed to load tag keys" after update influxdb 2.6.1 => 2.7.1

Hi there,

I am using influx on an Raspberry Pi 3 running ArchlinuxArm along with OpenHAB 3.4

Acutally I am not using influxdb for more than data visualisation with Grafana at the moment, but only recorded data is good data :wink:

After upgrading 2.6 > 2.7 Grafana is not able to read the data anymore.
Looking into the web interface of Influx I get the error “Failed to load tag keys” for every bucket.

A simple downgrade to 2.6 fixes that issue immediately and I have access to the data again. Also Grafana starts working again.

I have no idea if I need to do some further steps other than upgrading the package, but I was not able to find any guide or something for such a minor upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @pesky,
That is quite odd. I wonder if there was just an issue with the upgrade. What version of Grafana are you using. I wonder if there’s a problem there.

thanks for your reply.
I am pretty confident that it’s not grafana. I just tested upgrading without Grafana even running and it led to the same results (see attached image)

After upgrading:

The instance writing to the database is OpenHAB 3.4.0

After downgrading back to 2.6.1 everything is fine again.
