Error with Host in request URL

The following error appears:

Error: failed to determine if instance has been configured: Get “http:localhost:8086”: http: no Host in request URL

I know the question may be extremely basic, but can someone help me with this issue? Completely new to Influx and have not been able to find documentation on this.

Please provide a bit more information and context.

Where does this error occur? With which action?

Btw, http:localhost:8086 is not a valid URL, It should be at least http://localhost:8086
