Convert influxdb buckets for use by flux to influxql tables for use by influxql

I am a bit confused. there is flux query language and then there is influxql

since flux is on the way out I wanted to convert my buckets to influxdb “tables” using this

influx v1 dbrp create --db devices --rp devices --bucket-id 48032d82851324cb --org research --token wakaflaka

is this the only way?
