Collecting Hadoop stats using jolokia2 input

Anyone have experience getting jolokia2 to collect hdfs stats?
I have it configured and it is collecting the jvm stats and one of the namenode mbeans ( FSNamesystemState), but not FSNamesystem. It is also not collecting the data node mbean FSDatasetState.
