To standardize the id of the alerts we are receiving in PagerDuty we made changes to already deployed tickscript which caused 100s of old alerts to be triggered.
Sounds like a bug, or at the very least a very important feature that needs adding. Suggest raising it over here , along with steps to reproduce.
