Add extra column in already existing Influx measurement

Is it possible to add new column (tag1) to the existing measurement in influxdb.

What version of InfluxDB are you using?
There are kind of hacks to do this…however…
The best answer is really no. You’d be better off rewriting the data with the tag you want to a new measurement going forward.
