When is it necessary to configure credentials in Kapacitor

Hi
I am new in TICK. I have configured a system and when I am adding Kapacitor in Chronograf configuration, it gives the option to add user/pass to kapacitor connection. When is this configuration needed? How can I add this credentials to kapacitor?

Welcome and thanks for your question. To get started, may I ask why it is that you want to use the TICK stack, to begin with? I would suggest getting started with Influx 2.0 instead if you’re new to Influx. 2.0 has Kapacitor InfluxDB and Chronograf integrated together, which is easier for new users.
