Upgrade vom 1.8 to 2.x

I want to upgrade my database from 1.8 to 2.x. I use Windows 11. Can someone help me how this works or are there instructions?

Too many Linux-specific commands there to easily adapt for a Windows user, I
think.

I can’t imagine the windows commands are different. But I just read they recommend going straight to 3

Once you know linux, you will start thinking what an idiots at microsoft. I would definitely recommend getting involved.
