Tick script where on tag

Im trying to filter a stream of incoming data .
I have a tag that i can do a select on him but for some reason when using kapacitor nothing happen
basic select return values
SELECT count(*) FROM "telegraf"."autogen"."DCevents" WHERE "eventtypeID"='1'
when using kapacitor i get nothing on topic

stream
        |from()
        .database('telegraf.autogen')
        .measurement('DCevents')
        .where(lambda: "eventtypeID" == 1)
        .groupBy(*)
        |alert()
        .topic('log')

what im i doing wrong…
