Is there significant temp file diskIO during compaction?
I am running hundreds of InfluxDB docker containers and the disk containing the / file system (NOT the /var/lib/influxdb file system) gets smashed.as a few hundred DBs all switch shards at the same time.
This is the thinpool disk (still using devicemapper storage) that hold the ephemeral writable layer of the container that is not a mounted volume or bind volume. I’m wondering if the compaction process is writing to /tmp or similar.
