Recent versions of telegraf , e.g. 1.5.2 require shadow-utils to be installed (seemingly because it wants to ensure that useradd is available). However this package does not exist in Suse 12.3 (and useradd is part of the shadow package). Thus the (automated) installation of telegraf via zypper fails on Suse 12.3. I’m wondering if the dependency in telegraf could be modified for Suse distros.
