In the influxDB architecture can I relate to Telegraph as my publisher?
if so there as no need to add another pub/sub tool in front influxDB .
@miki_haiat Can you describe what you mean by publisher? Do you mean a queuing system like rabbitmq? If so the you are partially correct. Telegraf can buffer writes and also accept writes from other telegraf instances and batch them for forwarding. In this configuration it is important to remember that telegraf has no on disk persistence so if the instance or process fails then you might loose metrics.
If you require on disk persistence then hooking into a queuing system like rabbitmq is easy. We have both producer and consumer plugins.
