The default series limit for influx is 1million. I know, limit can be disabled or increased. If I update this limit and end up by creating 5-6million series, then will there be any adverse impact on performance i.e Query time or injection rate.
I did ask this questions in influx days event as well as in meeting with influx folks, but never received satisfactory answer. I believe that limit is there for some reason.
