Save image as binary entry

hey fox,

I would like to save images in a timeseries database/managementsystem. I know its not designed/ that suitable for that purpose. But my intension is pretty reasonable - I would like to auto label images for machine learning based on utc timestamps.

I label/match sky images (radiometric scene characterstics) with Solarpower intensity (W/m²). The are both measured/captured simultanously.

One option would be to convert the image to pure binary data file and save that utc wise. Any ideas/recommendations/opions?

king regards

Hello @Bra1nsen,
Can you describe how you want to label the images in some more detail and what you mean by auto label?
I would consider storing the image name (assuming you can assign each image a unique name) instead of the pure binary because Influx isn’t optimized for logs or long string values.
