Hello, I am working with cablemodem docsis and I have approximately 6 thousand IP, I automatically generated a .conf file for each IP until then everything is fine. The problem is that my server crashes… maybe there are telegraph settings to activate that can help me collect the data…

That’s too unspecific to actually help you out. What exactly do you mean with “my server crashes”? The whole system? Please provide some logs, so we can have an idea of what’s wrong.
I’m suspecting it can have to be something to do with out of memory, since 6k is probably a bit too much for 1 single telegraf instance. I for example are collecting 2k4 snmp devices spread over 8 telegraf instances (spread over 2 servers).
Yes, from what I saw, it consumes a lot of memory and CPU and the server ends up hanging.
Maybe I should do it in multiple instances… how could I run more than one instance of telegraph…
