Kapacitor TICK scripts location

Hi,

I have created a few alerts in Cronograf and curious to check where the exact location of the tick scripts would be on the server. I checked in /etc/kapacitor and all I see is kapacitor.conf. Is there a default location for ticks scripts?

Thats a good question, I don’t know. Personally i use Chronograf to generate the script, view it with the editor within chronograf and copy it out to a text editor and save it with a more meaninful name instead of a name like

chronograf-v1-a32629c2-d1b9-4891-ad25-bfa5dfcc9dcf

Then i upload it to /etc/kapacitor/tick

The tick directory doesn’t exist so you will have to create it. If you find out where the chronograf tick scripts are stored i’d love to know.

I think the tick scripts are stored in a bolt database. The location is specified in /etc/kapacitor/kapacitor.conf under [storage] with the key boltdb.
