Kapacitor Data Format - JSON Standard for metrics?

Hi there,

I’m setting up a TICK stack in order to forward our IOT data (smart city/building context).
For simplicity (and re-usability) I’d like to export JSON format that is sent to MQTT and ingested by Kapacitor.

I wondered if there are any “common” or standard data formats (keys) that should be used for this kind of data.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I haven’t sent JSON to Kapacitor in this format, but you could take a look at the Telegraf format for outputting JSON, perhaps it would work well here.
