Kapacitor and Influxdb 2.0 Tasks

Hello all,

Does Influxdb 2.0 Tasks deprecate Kapacitor? If I am a new user of InfluxDB is it better to work with Kapacitor or with Tasks? Can tasks do everything Kapacitor can do?
