I have some doubts with retention policy and disk space in my InfluxDB base. It uses the autogen with infinite retention, but we have a disk space problem.
I think in the future change the retention policy for just 6 months. Do I need set any other setup to get more disk space in my environment ?
I believe you are looking for way to increase memory usage limit exactly like Java. Unfortunately, there is no straight forward way to do that. Hence, you do not need to configure anything explicitly. But, you make like to look at the configs like max series limit (its not related with memory usage.).
