Hey Team, will the option of writing in InfluxQL still be available after mirgrating to Influx 2 or will programming be purely restricted to FLUX?
As you can imagine, not all colleagues will have the immediate capacity to climb the FLUX learning curve and the option for colleagues to continue writing in InfluxQL in the short term will be very helpful.
@ajetsharwin Yes, InfluxQL is available in 2.x, but it does require a bit of setup. Databases and retention policies have been replaced by “buckets” in 2.x, but InfluxQL relies on these pieces of the data model. To get InfluxQL to work, you need to map all your database and retention policy (DBRP) combinations to InfluxDB v2 buckets.
