Hi,

Please excuse the newbie question.

Is there a way to run a query that is stored in InfluxDB and pass parameters to it, on the same lines as stored procedures function in MS SQL server?

The reason that I ask is that I have a number of devices that are going to write data to a Basket and I would like to execute the same query after each write, and having the query stored locally in InfluxDB just makes it easier.

@GrahamWillsher InfluxDB Cloud recently introduced “API Invokable Scripts” to meet that use-case, you can learn more about it in the blog post here. The feature isn’t available in InfluxDB OSS.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Looks like I will have to wait awhile for this, as it is only available via the cloud.
