Today we’re announcing the general availability of InfluxDB Cloud 2.0. Our new cloud offering includes a free rate-limited tier, transparent usage-based pricing, and advanced analytic capabilities so users can convert their data into actionable information.
InfluxDB Cloud 2.0 can rapidly ingest millions of metrics per second with highly efficient compute, downsampling and compression functions, providing users with real-time observability into systems and applications. Flux, the new data scripting and query language, comes built-in, enabling users to extract more complex and valuable insights from data, better detect anomalies, and enable real-time action with alerts and notifications. The new user interface and getting-started process were designed around developer happiness and faster time to productivity. Users will also find native client library collections and pre-built dashboards and scripts for common monitoring projects, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Redis and more included.
