I need some example for retention policy

for example I want remove data from 6 months ago, what should i write in CLI? should i set something in config file?

if I need to export data from Jan to Jun, what should i do write in CLI?

I’ve create a RP but have two value (duration and shardGroupDuration ) what is the different ?

FYI: i read all of influx website documents but still unclear.
