When buckets are deleted, the corresponding shard groups do not seem to be deleted permanently.
As seen in the journalctl log, during the “Retention policy deletion check” every 30min-1hr, “deleted shard group” are still occurring for previously deleted db_instances/buckets.
The long time taken to complete the “Retention policy deletion check” for few hundred db_instances is causing performance issues during queries.
The buckets were originally created with a retention period and shard group duration of 1 hour.
Is there any way to delete these shard groups permanently? I tried restarting the PC few times but it did not help.
