CSV export in InfluxDV V2

I started my journey into InfluxDB with the free cloud hosted version ( “InfluxDB Cloud Serverless”).
What really helped me as a beginner was the option to download queried data as CSV and analyze the data in a spread sheet.

Now I moved to the self hosted InfluxDB OSS V2. And now I missing the feature to download a CSV-file.
Though I found some screenshots that had a similar CSV-download button in V2 it’s not available in my installation.

Is there an (easy) way to export CSV form InfluxDB V2?

@cortlieb This is a bug that has been reported here. Feel free to add to that issue thread. Hopefully it will be fixed in a future release.

In the meantime, if you query InfluxDB v2’s /api/v2/query API directly, it will return CSV.
