Can Kapacitor send email with attachments? (with email handler)

Hi

I’ve been asked to set up an alert that sends an email with an xml file attached to it (the xml data are in a field).
Is this possible with the Kapacitor email handler?

I’ve looked at the docs and there are no examples of attachments. so I guess the answer is no… but can someone confirm that?

Thanks for your question. As far as I know your suspicions are correct–no attachments. I’ve asked a Kapacitor master, and if we’re wrong I’ll let you know/edit this.
