Any drawbacks for setting max-values-per-tag to Zero?

Hi All,

Recently we are hitting max-values-per-tag exceeded limit when inserting to database.
The reason for this is that we are using time as one of the tags
Will there be any drawbacks or issues if we set max-values-per-tag to zero?

Welcome!
I don’t recommend using time as a tag. That’s not how InfluxDB was designed to be used. Why are you thinking that you need time to be a tag?
