The scenario is we have to downsample the data into another retention policy for example from d1 retention policy to d2 retention policy of same database. I need to check whether the data is coming or not to the downsampled retention policy when there is data in d1. So can i take a deadman for both the databases at a time for checking missing data in d2 and lambda expression with in the deadman for checking the data in d1.

Welcome! I think you might be able to do that after joining the deadman results although I’m not sure, I’ve never done it. What version of InfluxDB are you using? Are you open to trying Flux? I could help you write a Flux script for this use case alternatively.
