I have read several blog posts about log analysis unsing TICK stack, but they all end up analysing metrics. There is no ‘kibana-like’ functionality to query logs, or is there?
ELK using Lucene for text analysis influx doesn’t have something similar to that.
what I’m planning to do is to output specific metrics to ELK for forther analysis .
I was hoping to avoid Elasticsearch because of it’s resource requirements.
what exactly you are trying to do ,which data you want to index ?
